그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지 못하였느니라.(마태복음6:29)

오늘 있다가 내일(來日) 아궁이에 던 지우는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며

너희 일까보냐 믿음이 적은 자들아(:30)

비판을 받지 아니하려거든 비판하지 말라.(마태복음7:1)

너희로 떡도 먹지 못하며 포도주나 독주를 마시지 못하게 하셨음은 주는 너희 하나님 여호와이신 줄을 알게 하려 하심이니라.(신명기29:6)

네 하나님 여호와께서 네 마음과 네 자손의 마음에 할레를 베푸사 너로 마음을 다하며 성품을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하게 하사 너로 생명을 얻게 하실 것이며(신명기30:6)

오직 너는 마음을 강하게 하고 극히 담대히 하여 나의 종 모세가 네게 명한 율법을 다 지켜 행하고 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 말라 그리하면 어디로 가든지 형통(亨通)하리니(여호수아1:7)[이 율법 책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 가운데 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄(平坦)하게 될 것이라 네가 형통 하리라.:8]

너희는 세상의 빛이라 산위에 있는 동네가 숨기우지 못할 것이요(마태복음5:14)

사람이 등불을 켜서 말 아래에 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이러므로 집안 모든 사람에게 비취느니라.(:15)

이 같이 너희 빛을 사람 앞에 비취게 하여 저희로 너희 착한 행실(行實)을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라(:16)

저희가 거기서 두려워하고 두려워하였으니 하나님이 의인의 세대에 계심이로다.(시편14:5)

변리(邊利)로 대금치 아니하며 뇌물을 받고 무죄한 자를 해치 아니하는 자니 이런 일을 행하는 자는 영영히 요동치 아니 하리이다.(시편15:5)

여호와는 나의 산업과 나의 잔(盞)의 소득이시니 나의 분깃을 지키시나이다.(시편16:5)
